What is the carbon that is in carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide?
Carbon in carbon dioxide and monoxide is just carbon. It is carbon with either 2 oxygens or 1 oxygen. Dioxide destroys the planet and monoxide is toxic to humans because it disrupts hemoglobin getting blood and oxygen throughout your body. Carbon is the 6th element in the periodic table
