The Cross can defeat vampires. What about the Triforce?

Please type quickly. Time is an issue. My sister was an idiot.. she thought the undead vampire was cute and invited him in for.. something to eat! HELP! I don't have any crosses on hand, but I do have a three triangular blocks I could probably form a makeshift Triforce from. Will this work or should I search for garlic?
