Will giving your dog a bath remove cactus needles?

My puppy got a little to close to our prickly pear cactus and got quite a bit of needles stuck in her back, we combed her and pulled out some with there tweezers, but there still some needles stuck on her skin deep under her fur, so I'm wondering if we give her a bath will that help get the remainder out?
