My roly poly has been acting very strange. Help me!?

I rescued him from my patio yesterday, and now he won't unroll from his ball. I don't know what to do! I have tried treats, keeping him warm, cold, room temperature... Help! I can't let him die, i have already named him Eddie after my dead dog. Do you know what i should feed him and keep him on, sand does not work. Please, i can't lose another pet, if he has a disease please let me know. His symptoms are: rolled up in a ball, feels hard, cold and chilly, won't respond to my voice. THANK YOU!!
