Single malt scotch, sample sizes?

Often you can find the smaller sizes (nips) in the package stores. Normally, the older barrels can only be found in the full size bottles. There were a couple of rare occasions when I visited the distilleries' websites that they were selling smaller sample sizes, but that was only during special occasions. Good Luck.
