A few questions about tadpoles...?

My neighbors pool has been drained for a few weeks now and has been collecting a little bit of rain water. There were at least 100 tadpoles in there but the water was really nasty and they are fixing to put the pool up for the year. I don't want to kill the tadpoles which Im pretty sure are tree frogs. I have a kiddie pool I filled up with water from the hose and put them in it, will they be okay with tap water? I also read they eat goldfish food and algae, I already have goldfish food but can go and buy algae tablets if necessary. hit my arm on something(around the bicep area).When i got home it was really painful.So i went 2 hospital,It had swollen up hugely.Anyway it was 2 big and bruised to look for damage and was sent away It wasnt right a couple of days later,2 the extent i have trouble lifting my arm and cant straighten it past 90 degrees. So i went back to hospital, got lots of consultations x-rays etc.Eventually i got an ultrasound,it was hard 2 see anything because of the m of internal bleeding but then a torn brachialis was spotted.They didnt seem to bothered and i went home being told to come back in 2 weeks and have one more ultrasound.So im goin back next thursday and i still cant straighten it past 90 degrees, this was another reason the ultrasound was so awkward.Im worried at the rate my arms healing and am unsure my arm is getting any easier to straigten.The ski season is a month away and im fearing my arm will still be messed.I was looking for excersises or something 2 speed up the healin ty

Need Advice For A Friend?

One of my friends recently met an older woman. He's 24 and she's 33. They hit it off fairly quick. They spoke for a couple of weeks and then started dating. They went on a few dates and had a couple of times. He really liked her. She broke up with her ex boyfriend a few weeks before they started talking. She told her ex that she was seeing someone new and he went ballistic. He threatened suicide and was admitted to the hospital for psychiatric treatment. Shortly after she told him through a text message that she needed space and time now. She wanted to spend time with her ex at the hospital. Her ex treated her very harshly in their relationship. So bad that her own parents wouldn't welcome him into their home. My friend treated her like a princess and she said she appreciated that and wanted to build a relationship with him. A few days after she told him she needed space he sent her a text message and told her if she needed anything he would be there for her. She told him to stop contacting her otherwise she would start getting mean about it. His birthday ped yesterday and she didn't even wish him a happy birthday. He still wants to pursue a relationship with her but I keep telling her she's a worthless piece of crap and needs to move on. In my mind..she was just playing him. Any advice is appreciated!

Not to mention on the college level there have been some GREAT white WR's. David Ball of New Hampshire (broke Jerry Rice's all division TD record), Todd Blythe of Iowa State, that kid out at Oregon State (03, 04, 05) who broke almost all of the Pac-10 receiving records. Is football now a sport which has become less racist. We see lots of black QBs, and we're now seeing lot's of white WR's, is everything finally working back to where it should be??

I didnt get around to pulling up all the dead flowers before the snow came this year and I went out today and puled some heads off the Gebrera daisys. They were frozen and I brought some inside. When they defrosted I noticed that the seeds were still inside the head and intact. They are wet still. I pulled out about 30 seeds from each colour and have them drying out. I, too, was in that same situation. I wanted to buy something not too expensive, but not poorly made. I purchased a Canon EFS 55-250mm f/4-5.6 with IS and it's a pretty decent lens that was priced at $272 with tax. I've taken some good shots with it. I haven't used it as much as I'd like but it's definitely good to buy a lens with IS unless you don't mind carrying around a tripod with you all the time. This type of lens is great for outdoors, wildlife, and portraits.

How do you defrost a freezer in a garage during winter that is frozen shut?

I have an older freezer in my 2 car garage and for the past year it has taken to getting a ton of ice. We hardly ever use the freezer but there is some food in there that I cannot get out. We tried to defrost it a while back and we had it unplugged and the door open for 3 days and nothing melted enough to get the food free. We can't put bowls of hot water in there because there is no room...too much ice. Now the door is frozen shut and I am not sure what to do. It is winter and the garage is cold. I live in a mobile home park. The landlord that owns the land is intimidating me. What do I do?

I am paying on my mobile home in this park. We couldn't afford our lot rent for 1 month so we went to get government help. We were told to send in a paper and the landlord signs it returns it and they will pay him. Well one of the many time we were without water in 90 degree weather the landlord comes down to supposedly fix the problem. Anyway he comes knocking on my door after my husband leaves to tell me there won't be any water today so I asked him if he filled out and sent back the form. He tells me he doesn't want to deal with "those people" and he's wants the money from us. I told him I can't work and my husband is trying to get back on his feet and he tells me to tell my husband to get him his money or he will take us to the magistrate. So a couple days ago we get a letter in the mail stating we owe $475.00 total in fees etc. This park has contaminated water. We have to go to another county to fill up water jugs that cost us gas money we don't have. The septic tanks that we use are tipped and when it is damp the sewage smell comes over here and we get sick. Like I said I own the trailer and we are struggling and we can't afford to move. We are trying. We are trying to get a lawyer but legal aid says my husband makes to much money even though we can't afford to buy food half the time. We need help. I don't know how he is getting away with this. There is only two active trailers here and if one goes the park gets shut down. That's how bad it is. Help please.

It sounds like at home he is not having any boundries. Children need structure. They need a clear understanding of what is right and what is wrong, and if they do something that is wrong they need to know that they will be punished for it in some way. Again, this should be consistant. I dont understand these parents that think children should just be allowed to run free and basically run the house. My son is 4 and is SO well behaved. We get compliments on him all the time. I have never ever ed him either. He just has a clear understanding of what is right and what is wrong. He knows if he acts up he will be punished. Timeout did not work for him, so we started taking away something he liked...mostly tv. He knows if he misbehaves he does not get to watch his favorite program. Its going to be hard for you to have him behave if his parents let him run free and throw rocks, hitting other kids and everything, but at least if you are teaching him right from wrong he may learn to act correctly at your house at least.

Big Trouble with little min pins- Please help!!?

I am having alot of trouble with my min pin (*****,2yrs Old) and my mothers min pins (***** 1yr and Male 6 Months old). They all got on fine until i had to keep mine at home as she had a pup, when i brought her back to my mothers they all started fighting. My dog and my mums male dog seem to get on fine but when the 3 are together all hell breaks loose. Ceiling Joists... help!?

I am having a hard time finding a joist in my ceiling. I need to drill a hole where there is a joist. Stud finder is not working. My ceiling is regular drywall... so i dont know how to find it!! My husband and I live in a condo in Wisconsin that is filled with primarily elderly and young adults without children. Currently no one is allowed to have any pets with the exception of fish. (don't ask me why) After speaking with many of the other residents, especially the elderly ones, they all would love to have the companionship of a pet. While I hate to eliminate dogs, there is just no way to keep track if no one picks up pooh. So we want to overturn the rule and allow indoor cats and other small, quiet pets. Should I drop out of uni?

Hi, I started the second year of my course this September. The first year of the course, was nothing like what was promised from signing up and I found it very easy and unchallenging. The teachers were bad and all of the information I needed for exams and coursework I taught myself. I decided to continue as I was informed by teachers that the course would get more in-depth and challenging. Having almost finished the first semester of my second year it is clear that this course is a joke. The cles are badly organised, are badly taught and generally are not educating me at all. I have taught myself pretty much everything I have learnt from this course. I am fully aware that self-directed learning plays a huge role in university, but it should not be the basis of your education. I cannot transfer to a different University because there are no other courses like this one. I have spent a lot of time considering what I should do and have talked to a lot of people. I am currently living in London with three of my close friends, but am originally from Devon. If I drop out of uni I would not be able to afford to live in London and will have to move out. Although they have said they will be fine with whatever I do, I feel awful about abandoning them. If I drop out of uni I will work full time and save money so I can go travelling, which I have always wanted to do, but what are the implications involving my student loan and grants? Staying at university is making me so unhappy, but I don't know whether I should leave or brave it out? I don't know how much use this degree will even be to me now. If anyone can help please let me know.

The chocked drainage located at the centre of the Common Wealth West Rd after the Clementi MRT station toward Jurong East Station. Just infornt of Clementi Ave 4 Blk 319. Called Ministry of Environment and they said that they will contact PUB but since Monday 08 Mar10 the drainage still not clear, today even worst as water gather after yesterday rain. Is RIT dye any good?

I want to dye a vest that I bought at a thrift store and altered (it started out a boring men's vest, and now it's very cute, if i do say so myself!) black. Right now it is grey wool (or something similar) on the front and brown silk (or similar) on the back. I have seen RIT dye before, but never used it, so i was just wondering if it'd be any good for this or if you know of another inexpensive (since the whole point of going to a thrift store in the first place is that I'm cheap and crafty) textile dye. Also, i hear you use it in our washing machine. Is there any danger of this dye staying in the machine and ruining future clothes? Should I do a rinse cycle after I dye?

Did you experience ovulation pain with Clomid?

With my first round and only round of clomid I experienced awful ovulation pain and I guess preovulation pain not to mention hot flashes. My doctor did not monitor me because she was hopingI would only need one round and she was right. I think the ovulation pain is normal since it is sort of aforced ovulation. Television conditions us that we need to hear someone talking all the time?

A lot of people I know, family members included, sit down and watch tv when they have down time or nothing better to do. Most of them tend to engage in conversation a lot while they aren't watching tv, but from my perspective it seems like most of it is meaningless filler, just an alternative to silence. I'd say it's a fair umption that 99% of domesticated, suburban American households with a traditional family (say a married couple with multiple children) have a television in them. I'm finding it difficult to articulate my description in exact relation to my question, but it just seems to me like there are a lot of people who just can't deal with silence. They would rather have a stranger entertaining them than sit quietly and just reflect (for 30 minute periods, of course). What really gets me is when people engage in conversation about the characters in tv shows they both watch. You literally might as well be talking about a dream, television's as real as that but it didn't even come out of your own head. It's my own personal opinion, but at least doing something like reading a book or playing a video game isn't completely pive.

I had a Cardiac Cath 2 years ago, went to E.R. just was feeling "weird" well turned out I was having a heart attack, I was rushed to the Cath Lab & had 2 stents put in LAD, the Cath I barely remember, I must have been put under conscious sedation, I have to take heart med. & blood thinners forever, I have damage to my heart, I feel my heart skips a beat off and on now, but I made it!
